Igal, is the part of the head cover set which is made of black rope-like cord, used to secure the Ghutra in place. These are generally made of tightly woven black goat-hair and sheep's wool. Note: The Igal is usually worn sitting on top of the head just to hold the ghutra in place and is not suppose to be wrapped around your forehead like a hat.
