Igal, is the part of the head cover set which is made of black rope-like cord, used to secure the Ghutra in place. These are generally made of tightly woven black goat-hair and sheep's wool.
Note:
The Igal is usually worn sitting on top of the head just to hold the ghutra in place and is not suppose to be wrapped around your forehead like a hat. To get the right size for you, simply measure the diameter along the upper portion of your forehead, then look at the table given below to find the size that is best for you.
